Thanksgiving Cornish Hens w/ Wild Rice Stuffing [ep 19]

The herb butter flavor somehow found itself deep within the hen making the end result absolutely amazing when combined with the wild rice stuffing!
HENS
- 4 Cornish game hens
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon chopped sage
- 1 tablespoon chopped thyme
- 2 teaspoons chopped rosemary
WILD RICE STUFFING
- ¾ cup wild rice
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ½ cup chopped shallots salt
- ¼ cup minced carrot
- ¼ cup minced celery
- 1 tablespoon chopped sage
- ¼ cup dried cherries
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
Note: we didn't end up using the flour or chicken broth. This was for the gravy that we never made! We also didn't have celery so we doubled up on the carrot in this specific recipe.
