How and why you should prune cucumber plants. If your in a hot/rainy/humid climate like me here in Florida, pruning really helps achieve organic gardening goals. It helps to slow the spread of leaf diseases which decreases the amount of times I have to spray with treatments. If I have to treat, I spray with 1 cup of hydrogen peroxide per gallon of water.
