I had the exact same thoughts back in January and almost bought an S7. However, depreciation, which is an important part of “total cost of ownership” I believe to be significantly worse in the S7.

43k just for an upgraded engine. You can probably get a tune for less than 5k on tbe s7 and be faster than rs7

Audi's are outrageously overpriced. A base a6 costs more than a 911. It's really worth about half that, especially since it's German.
