Great video as always William, iirc Ben didn't use RNSkia becoz there were some issues with Android. Also I think Skia adds more to app size for this simple animations? Obv it also opens up the opportunity to do many more complex animations. What do you think ?

Also I’m currently adopting skia because my path animations keep crashing on Android with react native animated as well as reanimated. Do you know if skia is a good package for drawing a path for a countdown timer that can take user input? (Someone can hit a plus button to add time etc)

the question is why code a game in react native in the first place? seems equivalent to coding a browser game with vanilla HTML canvas.
In other words, a completely sub-optimal tool for the job.
