This hurts my heart just a little bit. Story time - I had an older laptop that made a lot of noise when it was turned on but one of the only things that I did for fun on this laptop was play in fightcade. This might have actually been in a days before FC2. Anyways, the noise that the computer made was the fan being just generally broken. That means the thing would overheat every now and again, so I literally had ice packs sitting underneath it. Anyways it was about 3:00 a.m., and I was drinking energy drinks and playing 3S, having an absolute ball. I play an Oro who gets me down to a pixel of course, and I was recovering from a hard knock down. He throws his spirit bomb, and I wake up and just try to parry the whole thing. Halfway through successfully pairing it My eyes get all big and I thought I was about to have my Evo moment. Right then... The laptop overheats and shuts down. Right in the middle of my parry. I go running into the next room looking for my girlfriend who's playing League of Legends trying to explain what just happened and I did nothing but sound like an idiot. Now I get to actually tell the story in a place where I could be vulnerable enough to feel bad that it's that easy to parry the spirit bomb lol

I actually get hit after two parries. I think if you hit the button TOO fast it can fail. But for most people, this is a great tip for partying spirit bomb
