I find it strange that jay z would admit it... the cheating. Yet rejoyce in the fact that his family stayed together through the hard time when he intentionally caused it, the hurt and pain. Knowing it could be simply avoided by not having the infidelity & the family would not have to go through with it. I just don't get why women still stay when their husband cheats, once a cheater always a cheater.

I think the people in the comments who are saying Beyoncé should have left him either have a black and white mentality/morality or have shown a little ignorance on the situation and it’s complexity. While I do believe in divorce (my mother divorced my father for good reasons), I think we, as a society, do not honor the institution of marriage. When I married my husband, I made a commitment to him before God for the rest of our lives through good and bad. I believe others in our shoes would have gotten divorced after several of the trials and tribulations that we have experienced. However we love each other, honor the commitment that we made, and have chosen to make our relationship better. In my relationships I have cheated and been cheated on and I don’t think that is necessarily a dealbreaker for marriage. It depends on the couple and if they are willing to work, make changes, and move on. Beyonce and Jay also have to prioritize their children and their is research that has shown that children have a happy home life when their parents have a happy and healthy relationship. I do not know all the details, but I applaud them!
