I had mine set exactly like yours. I looked at the fountain from my kitchen and saw lots of splashing. Made me happy. But then the mom bird came toward my door wall and looked nervous. I sensed something wrong. Went toward the door and I could see her baby was drowning. I hurried and got him out with the broom. He was exhausted and sat in the patio for about 1 hour while the mom bird kept bringing him worms. I’m so glad I caught it in time. I rearranged the planter with River ricks and another tray inside ai the birds can now land in the rocks and not drown.

Thanks so much for the video, I stopped using my solar sprayer because it would always end up on one side of the bath/dish and all the water would eventually end up outside of the bird bath and it would run dry but now I’ll use something similar to what you used on the four sides to keep it centered and I won’t have to worry about it going dry. 👍🏾

It needs rounded stones, both to anchor it and to provide paces for birds and pollinators to perch and drink. Better off with a USB rechargeable pump. Fit a sprinkler head.

plz put alot of rocks in there so the birds have somewhere to sit and enjoy the water they need water but plz wash off any stones or rocks first ❤

I would think the pot would either have to be exact size or a huge water source in order to keep the water spray contained!?

Only works if the sun is in a certain position if there is any shadows. on the panel it won’t work properly

It will soon empty the water, ours did, I had to keep filling it up otherwise it will ruin the pump. It is now in a much deeper container.
