120KG Deadlift x 3 PR - Road To 140KG

120KG/264LB deadlift for 3 reps, most reps i've hit of 120KG so far, quite happy with it!
Was actually meant to be benching today but the thought of hitting 120 x 3 got the best of me 😂 so i just finished with deadlifts. Been so addicted to deadlifting recently but i need to slow down lmao. More bench press / squat videos coming soon.

One of your best sets ever, you went for that forth rep and it wasn't going anywhere, always makes me feel good knowing I found the real limit (for now)

And I have absolutely nothing to say about your form. About maxed out that bar huh ? Those clamps are just barely hanging on.

Decent amount of weight for your age and body mass. My PRs were 100 bench 132.5 squat and 155 deadlift but I was about 25 and 78kg. At the speed you're increasing you blow past that in no time. This channel makes me itch to get back to the gym.

Nice bro! Form is looking good. Can't wait to see your numbers once you're back at the real gym!

Strong lift bro! Have you tried using hook grip whenever u go heavy on deads, if not I highly recommend it, it was a game changer for me since grip almost always gives out when you go heavier, I can definitely lift more with hook grip than regular, also I'd say it's better than mixed cuz it doesn't lead to any imbalances or potential bicep tears

I think this should be "Road to 180kg".

Honestly, the step from 120kg x 3 to 140kg x 1 isn't that far. It's more of a hop than a road. I'd be willing to bet if you put a focus on it for a couple of weeks you're have 140 easy.

Great form great lifts. Nice speed on the 3rd, could likely get 5 🤔 140 wont be too long away. Have you bought more disks? Get cast iron or pay out a bit more and get steel. They are super thin so can get loads of weight on the bar 👍 my steel kit can get upto 300kg on the bar and the bar is 1" not the olympic 2" bar. Pay once for life 💪

What company barbell/weights do you use? I gotta get some heavier weights but I don't wanna destroy my bank account.

There is some controversy about the rounded upper back and how it could affect the lifts, while it’s tru that it increases reach I still think you should deadlift the way Elliot teaches it with the lumbar spine a bit curved and the thoracic spine straight with the scapulas pulled together and down... but that’s just my opinion
