Also, this guy here saved money by only getting HALF a hair cut. From either side he looks like two different dudes. BRILLIANT!

“Rich people also don’t know how to do it, but they google it” STRAIGHT UP FACTS. 💯

5 months ago my mindset took a turn for the better. I was both broke and poor back then but now even though I'm broke I can confidently say that I will never be poor again. I have invested my time and money into seminars, webinars, videos, books and courses. I've purchased a SMMA course about a week ago and I'm hopping to land my first client within the next three months. Changing my mindset and ignoring my parents friends and teachers wasn't easy but I realised in the end whether I fail or succeed will not influence or affect them in any way but will affect me in every way. That is why I chose to to take the road less traveled by and hope and believe that it will make all the difference. What changed my mindset was a simple email replied by the Six Figure Mentors team when I asked them for advice on what to do when i finish secondary school. Even though I decided to do SMMA instead of affiliate marketing (even though I'm planning to do it in the future after I set up and automate my agency) I have taken on the advice of what Dan Holloway told me and went and pursued what I wanted to do instead of what my parents wanted me to do.

I hope kids are watching this. This is the advice that is needed for the masses. Especially now that everyone is becoming so materialistic. Instagram is where everything went from bad to worse. Good for business thou so hey ho, let's make the most of it

I completely agree with the topics you talked about, just 4 years ago I traded hours for dollars and never tried to learn outside of my comfort zone and life never got better. On the other hand, four years ago I went to a TedX event that woke me up because it was about autonomy. This was when the author of the book (Disrupt You!) Jam Samit was there and I immediately had a mind shift.

I spent the lunch hour of that event and found Jay, ending up talking to him for that hour. (I learned so much in that hour)

From then on, I started learning everywhere I could with first learning how to build websites, doing SEO, and branding which at the time was something I never once thought about.

Well, today I have several great websites that I designed myself and also a marketing agency in my hometown.
This is not where I stopped, I do not listen to the radio when driving, I listen to audible books, repeatedly as like a movie, you always miss the little details the first time.

This leads me to now where I stop at nothing to learn something new every day because you never know when you will need it or can help the right person.

From where I was just 4 years ago till now, I still work a day job but I will say that I do rake in an extra $2, 000 a month just from what I learned on the internet and no....that is not the end.

By October of 2019, I have a goal of no longer trading my hours for money, at least not waking up to fight traffic and work at a job that just offers a retirement, I do not want to just make it and goal is to make it and keep at it to not only help everyone I can but also to so my kids that there is a better way, a smarter way.

I also agree that it isn't about name brands, it is about what we need and what makes sense.

Great points Kevin, I am glad to say that I know bro.

Kev, Kev, Kev, Kev. Kev you outlined some valuable and universal financial principles but I want you to look at this from a global perspective. In 2018 5% of the world's population controls 90% of the world's wealth. The vast majority of this 5% live in what we would call developed nations i.e. USA, Europe, China, Australia. I'm from Trinidad, right now in our country if you want access to US currency you have to put your name on a waiting list in the bank ! Mindset is important but Access to Resources, Expertise and Capital MATTERS ! I just got back from Trinidad two weeks ago, God as MY WITNESS, I went shopping in a place called Courts, our version of Bestbuy. I asked for an ALL IN ONE computer. NO ONE, not even the MANAGER knew what an ALL IN ONE computer is ? Responsible and Successful Entrepreneurs have a duty to make the World a better place. The most influential humans are always the ones who elevated the condition of humanity the most, it's never the guy with Billions in the Bank.

I'm from a strictly "poor mentality" background. But I'm currently on my path to break the norm and work my way to buy a PRIVATE JET (GULFSTREAM 550 to be Exact 😋). Yesterday my friend said he would run naked in public if I ever at least rent a private jet. So, please expect some adults-only footage in a couple of years. lol. 😅

I think as poor people we love to spend money because we are not used to it. Poor me!!! I am buying clothes that lasts for years and will have pay themselves off through the years

Awesome video Kevin!
I see becoming rich more than just a mindset, but a vision that you must have into the future. When it comes to a YouTube channel for example, starting from scratch stinks but after 2 months you hit 100 subs, then 3 months in 200, then 6 months in 1000, and it just keeps on growing from there just like in any business with an automation factor. The key is having that vision in month 3 when you have 203 subscribers and instead of giving up, think about where you will be in month 9 with 6, 957 subscribers. That vision alone is what motivates me each and every day to keep going because I know that if I quit I will end up right where I started. Like you said coming from Jim Rohn, "formal education makes you a living, while self education makes you a fortune". Why rely solely on formal education when there is unlimited potential everywhere else.

Was a poor person mentality, a little anti-establishment. Post studying Sociology and Psychology....now trying to build a business, product development, Amazon etc....Great media. Thank you.

I don't think it's about rich and poor. We should categorise them as the one who makes excuses and the one who takes action and that's it
