A lot of comments are wondering why this play is so amazing and for good reason if they don't know the history of league. Madlife was the first hard carry support who would set his team up for success with these types of plays. They were literally inconceivable to any other player in the world at the time, but madlife could see and make plays that no one else could. As a result thresh was actually nerfed because of madlife's impact on the game, as now thresh is unable to flash mid-hook animation in order to extend the hook length as seen in this clip. "Talent is hitting a target that no one can hit while genius is hitting a target no one can see." Modern day support playmakers make those plays based off of what madlife created.

It's because he's a good on every support he plays. If they ban Thresh he plays Blitzcrank, if they ban Blitz he plays Alistar you just can't ban the guy out at all.

Pudge's hook length is probably about double Thresh's, also there is delay (for thresh) as everyone is telling you now

Probably because they're more worried about banning out Champs that would hinder their own team comp's goals. At such a high level of play, it stops being, "Ban X Champ cuz Y is good with it, " but rather, "Ban X Champ cuz he will make our strategy more difficult to execute."

That being said, I agree that Thresh respect bans against Madlife should be a no-brainer.

they do sometimes .. but in this match they wanted certain champs banned cus at the end of the day madlife isn't the only a member of cj frost and the rest are just as amazing as he is with other champs ...

I love how this is flagged as spam, but he is completely right. Anybody that plays thresh could hit this hook 9/10 times. 100% vision the whole time makes it really easy to predict movement.
