Stick shifts are still quite popular in the U.S.

Reminds me of Malaysian driving styles. I was told that when you cross the street in China, you shouldn't make eye contact with the car drivers or else they will take it as a signal to go, because you see them.
And by the way, I AM American. And, Yes. I drive an automatic, LOL! :)
Happy Thanksgiving, Serp.

You may be surprised many Americans drive and prefer OK though, your videos, attitudes, knowledge and good sense of humour are refreshing up the good work and thanks, or xiexie.

Good memories still remember when i was there this summer... Boom a car will squeeze in front of you without warning! Crazy J walkers too. Oh is the License plate even and odd number in effect right now? When I was there they had a trail for like a week during July.

so true they are raised like this it's quite annoying even people that come from other countries and become Americans are "invisiblly" forced by society to act patriotic and put USA above all.

Even buses not blinking... Don't they have driving courses? How can someone even pass their test? I'd imagine it has to be just laziness after having passed the test. Just like with not following other traffic rules. Using the indicator is about a mentality of working together. Game theory.

Haha this is a good video, reminds me of travelling and its interesting to see traffic in China! Much like Eastern Europe it seems! No worries on the bike videos either, i enjoy these just as much as the bike related ones and know your situation, my bike isn't with me at the moment seeing as i'm traveling, really missing it! That traffic queue is insane as well, pure madness, yet that is what i love about different cultures and places really haha!

@ :27 - Not all Americans drive automatic transmission. A lot of us do drive manuals.

To be fair, driving in Shenzhen isn't as bad compared to many parts of Mainland China. It's better than Beijing for sure. However, in terms of international standards, China is ranked like 90 out of 180 countries!

winston did you reconsider getting a truck? I know you did a video about a chinese truck a while back, just curious if you changed your mind.

Do you not like Americans or something? Seemed like quite a few underhanded insults.

LOL You really know nothing about America or bad traffic. The worst of what you showed would be a good day on the roads where I live. People here do all the things that bug you about Chinese drives but at four times the speed. If you are ever coming to the east coast of the US look me up and I'll show you what a real traffic nightmare looks like.
