SUSU'S Basics - Flavor Boosters.

These are my goto, MUST HAVE, basic condiments I always make sure I have enough of in the fridge. I like to call these magical concoctions... SUSU FLAVOR BOOSTERS.

The nick name says it all, these sauces and pickled veg's, give a serious boost to anything you would apply them too, whether you're cooking breakfast, lunch or dinner. We'd like to start with our favorite one, and possibly the most potent of all flavor boosters we plan to share with you here in our short series, the AMBA sauce.

We used to have a great falafel place in our town and they had the amba sauce which really made the falafels taste super delicous. This was several years ago and I really miss the taste of amba. I NEED to try this recipe!

why is every amba recipe on YouTube such overkill?
Take freshly ripe, firm mangos, cook them down, add crushed fenugreek seeds and lemon acid, maybe some salt or something else I forgot, let the thing sit until the flavors infuse..
shoot it up… I mean… dip the falafel in and enjoy…

I don’t understand how people don’t know amba, it’s addictive like drugs.
Sometimes I buy the pita and whatever’s inside just so I can dip the whole thing into amba and be smelly and happy. 😂
