I used to be such a big hobbyist breeding fish for so long but shut down my tanks after the 2007 recession and haven't had the pleasure to do it since. I tripped over your video here and it was such a Zen moment. Thanks for the incredibly relaxing and enjoyable time you've shared here. I hope to get to do this again some day.

What makes your videos great is that they encompass the whole process. That is from eggs to grow out tank. No waiting by us to watch what happens. Thank you very much and keep up the great work.

I don't have any tanks anymore, but still love watching your channel. Wish I had been watching before I sold all my tanks. Being a fish parent would have been easier on me I think. :) Thanks for putting up such helpful videos, that I'm sure are helping many who watch and learn from you. Some day I think I may set up a tank again.

WOW MAN.... Once again, Thanks HEAPS for sharing with us your knowledge 👍 I'm still pretty NEW to breeding fish, as I've ONLY recently retired. I've only ever bred Bettas, Guppies & grown different Goldfish to later sell about 15 to 20 years ago. SoI really do appreciate you taking the time you do in making these YouTube Clips

(ie: This is apart from Breeding Cattle & Kelpie Dogs, & also Chickens)

Found hatched eggs today on a leaf in my 55 gallon! Put them in a nursery tank today with the mama only. The dad tried eating a couple. Well did eat a few. So he’s back in the main tank. Mama and babies will be in the nursery. Great video!

5:05 you can cook oak leafs and use the extract as an anti fungal treatment for the eggs... methylen blue is not that available... I used this method to hatch cory eggs and it worked

I've had success breeding Black Vail tail angle fish in a 25 Gal tank. I bought 4 juvies from my LFS. They grew and paired off. Took the remaining ones out of the tank. Left the breeders in by themselves. I had giant sword plants already growing in the tank. Once the babies hatched I honestly didn't know what to do next! lol ...So I just left them with the parents till free swimming. At that point I took the babies out of the tank and set them off on their own tank. It was a wonderful experience raising them till they were small mini replicas of their parents. Sold them back to my LFS and kept a few for myself. I still have the original pair and yes! They are still at it :)

So exciting! Thank you for making this. My mom used to breed black mollies when I was a little kid, over 55 years ago! Great video!
