I wish I was joking when I say in a competitive game. I had a POTG of our McCree. It was literally him respawning and walking. Definitely the play of the game. Yeehaw cowboy walking.

Small edit: This was back at like the start of Overwatch. So I assume the POTG system wasn't exactly done properly. This was also on Hanamura 2nd point.

Interrupting another ultimate such as Genji, Pharah etc contributes a lot of POTG points. The algorithm is also heavily biased against multikills resulting from an ultimate, while biased towards healing/saves etc.

A Mercy that revives a teammate, pulls out her weapon and shoots resulting in a kill will almost always get POTG even in a game where dozens of ultimate multikills took place.
