**Important Safety Note**
Safety is my number 1 priority and concern while operating Tesla's FSD Beta software and at no point have I, nor will I subject customers to unnecessary risk. I am in full control, take over regularly, and I am extremely vigilant and cautious at all times. Furthermore, I do not subject anyone to Self Driving features that are uncomfortable or request me not to use it.
-Tesla's FSD system is classified as a level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System). It is not fully autonomous and I remain in control at all times. There is nothing illegal or concerning about my operation of FSD on Rideshare Drives.
-I am legally protected to record inside my own personal vehicle while on the job and do attain consent for individuals fully featured in my videos. The rest are blurred out with identifiers censored or cut from the videos entirely.

Love your content man, keep doing what you are doing!
Got my new M3 Long range 2025 a week ago, huge upgrade from 2019 I had before.
Can’t wait for FSD to hit here in Europe. Until then, I’ll get my fsd enjoyment from you

Can't wait for Hw4 model 3 or Y FSD data by you.

I've done a little over 120 miles on 12.6.4 so far. The only issues I've seen are due to mapping errors from the map providers. Hopefully Tesla will start using their own car provided data for mapping.

Boat owners have two moments of pure joy in life: The day they buy their boat and the day the sell it 🤣🤣🤣

In passing zones, if there's a blocky truck in front of you, it has to slide over until the center cameras are left of the left edge of the truck, or else it can't see to decide on whether to pass or not. From your spot in the driver seat, you will always be able to see an oncoming car sooner than FSD can see it. It should be able to see some of the oncoming lane depending on current position and angle, thus it should be able to see far enough that it knows, in the moment, that it can slide over safely another inch or so with plenty of time to slide back if it spots an oncoming car. Each little bit is slides over, it can see further, and be more confident it is safe to slide a little more (again with time to return if there is an oncoming car), and so on. So when considering your takeover decision, if the oncoming car is far enough away that collision is not imminent, but the center cameras may not be able to see it yet, consider letting it slide a bit more.

Problem issues would be (1) if, when the center camera can see an oncoming car, it still decides to move into the oncoming lane to pass; or (2) it is moving into the oncoming lane when it cannot see far enough to know it has time to abort return safely if necessary.

Might be interesting to test this with your recording camera up in line with the center cameras so it has the same angle around the vehicle you are passing. Either that, or save the footage from the car's cameras to add to one of these videos showing what happens. Isn't there a relatively easy method to just tap a button to make it save the last X minutes or seconds of video footage?

12.6.4 tries to "time" the red light and it moved forward while it was still red for a good 5 seconds. Of course I stopped before FSD moved the car in a dangerous way.

Hell yeah! So that means some boat trip videos? I tow my little teardrop camper with my model Y. Can't even tell you're towing anything to be honest. Range isn't great but I've gone 120 miles towing and still had 20% left. Think I could get 160 but didn't really want to find out lol

0:35 Is this one of these intersections that only has the lane usage arrows painted on the asphalt? I hate that. There should always be usage indicator signage as well. Cars can occlude the painted markings on the asphalt.

This morning 12.6.4 tried to go through a left red arrow for me, after sitting for a few seconds, despite nothing changing for the surrounding lights, got several feet past the line before I stopped it and had to backup.

I’ve had it tried to guess the stoplight as well. However, I have let it do it every single time and at times it does start, but then it has always stopped if it’s not yet our turn.

it sucks to hear about the long rides that dont pay much. One thing to consider though is if you do record it and put it on youtube, hopefully the views from that ride will make more than what you made on uber! Keep posting buddy!

new model y is the smart move. It is very practical and affordable. CT remains really flashy, might not be the best for ridesharing. great video.

Seems to have lost energy around the “single stack” revolutionizing FSD, or did I miss something? Because the software still seems really buggy. Heck, users are performing quality checks, not Tesla engineers 🤷‍♂️

Guess I missed it but noticed your windshield is fixed.

12.6.3 feels really aggressive to me. Definitely loves to tailgate and do a lot of hard stops. 😢

My M3 12.6.4 HW3 tried to stop at a light still being built (wasn’t even on yet)

Do you think FSD will be able to perform overtake when a car is going slow? 😅

I was quite happy with 12.6.3, and now I have .4. Both are quite good, except at stop signs. It it so slow to reach 0 kph before starting to creep forward. OMG! I get honked at every time. Almost 10 seconds at each stop sign is really too much. How come Tesla cannot fix this issue? Is it just me, or did you experience it too? I have recalibrated on both versions, but it does not solve this problem. Any idea what the problem is?
