Miui doesn't need any features... They are focusing on stability... When they focus on stability youtubers and people blame for no features and when they give features people and youtubers cry on stability 🤦‍♂️

Using Pixel OS custom ROM with Android 13 and security patch of November on my Redmi Note 10 Pro. It's always fun to have latest Android version and security patch on to your phone even if it's budget and knowing that company will never rollout latest any Android version after 12! It's powerful, smooth and rocking 🤟

Developers of PE and Pixel OS are doing fabulous job in terms of software user experience on budget and some flagship devices! They know that everyone has a right to do so. Thanks to them as they do this in their free time. A big salute to devs ❤️

Tbh I was so hyped about MIUI 14 but after seeing this, it just killed that spirit, but still I believe Xiaomi will be rolling out new features soon but seeing that they're now focused on stability, not sure new features will be coming anytime from now🚶🏽‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

I agree Xiaomi should do the lock screen customisation and color palette choices to match the competitors (Samsung pixel ...) Even apple .

MIUI has, remove people from photos, AI sky replacement, image separation from background, AI image text recognition, double the frame rate in videos, upscale resolution of videos, AI auto HDR in any video, highest benchmark scores when compared to phones with same Soc, magic zoom, video clone, time freeze, forced dark mode in 3rd party apps, sounds with screen off in YouTube, best game launcher, volume control panel without pressing buttons, immersive sound and most of these like from miui 11. Who else gives this many cool features. With these kinds of features, i wouldn't care much about lock screen customisation.

But what about the family cloud groups, the new magic center + faster communication with other devices, more memory expansion options, refresh rate options, live translating in meetings, copying text from images directly, dual WiFi connection, less bloatware, photon engine, less consuming space, more floating windows support+ smart bubbles and media player in cc, etc. All of these aren't changes from the official Miui 13?
I understand you wanted a copy of iOS lockscreen, but if you read for what Miui users asked for, you'll see that they're not wanting these, or features/changes at all in the UI

i like miui 14. The big changes were in stability and mi smart hub which is a big deal imo. Makes bluetooth or home device control/ switch alot easier. One of the underrated features is to set custom refresh rate for each app so even if the phone doesnt have ltpo will be fine

Wasn't the whole point of it the optimization, it being bloat-free and lighter?

I haven't seen anyone excited for design changes.

You forgot the most important thing is the performance of the UI compared to the previous ones, that's the whole goal of MIUI 14 according to Xiaomi 🤷‍♂️

Installed the apk but its not making any difference? Should I install also something else?

MIUI doesn't need to be change, it looks good enough! All it needs the stability/ less buggy that's all!

Even Funtoch Os/ Color Os or Oxygen OS didn't have lock screen customisation and latest Oxygen OS 13 is similar to 12 only with few minor changes! MIUI is not alone so

I wish Xiaomi let us change the size of the icons and text in the status bar. Always end up having to root to do that and using a mod.
