I used a Predator 420 13hp hemi engine in a Case 222 I have been building for the past 2 years lol. Its got a plow and a rear sleave hitch. I did alot of the same trial and errors as you. I use it for snow removal mainly. I still use the factory predator key switch and everything just lengthened the wires and mounted it onto the side of the dash. Works great and easy to use while sitting. I have to admit these predator engines actual surprise me with how good they are. People bash them all the time but I love mine.

Where did you get the radiator and the fan? I put the 13hp predator in my fel/backhoe, and the ragjoint tore up and put a hole in my hydraulic filter. I have ordered u-joints to replace the ragjoint. I see that I will have to make some kind of guard to protect my filter and hydraulic lines just in case the u-joint come loose. The 420cc predator have all the power that I need to run my fel/back hoe.i also have both my uprights tied together to hold more oil.so mine hold a little over 2 gallons of hydraulic oil which help keep it cooler, I also added the small permanent magnet alternator on my 129, it put out around 20 volts but it don't overcharge my battery. I have led lights on mine but I never run them, I'm not on it in the dark. I would appreciate the link for the radiator and fan rough. Thanks. I just got another 149 today just for the motor. I'm going to make a fel for it. You know if you put an 18hp vanguard in a wide frame you want have to chop up the frame. I got one in one of my 149's and all I had to do is remote the oil filter, and I used u-joints in it, l only use it for tilling.
