I don't know what was best about the lock, the fact you managed to open it ....or the excitement you displayed when you got it to open! great video...thank you!

Thank you Bill! I'm an addict now. been watching your videos for a couple of months. This week I actually started making picks and tension wrenches. I've been able to pick 2 locks twice! I practice a couple of hours a day and take them everywhere. You never know when you're gunna have a few minutes to pick! I'm excited about making new picks. I think that's half the fun. I get the security pins. I've played around with a few better locks and feel the details. Now to get better so I can pick them! you've inspired me!

I love that feeling you get when you finally crack a lock that seems to give you nothing but trouble

i'vr just moved to England, and at the local locksmiths they have a lock with an even more heavily awarded key way. i'm simply in awe of their ability to machine things like this.

Man, the website looks great!!  Lots of great info on there.  Thank you for putting this together.  I'm very new to this so I really appreciate having such a great reference to go to and learn from.  Thanks again Bill.

Just started picking and I've always been a fan of a steep learning curve.

Nice pick! I've had several locks that frustrated me and wound up in my naughty bucket. In a few cases, I managed to pick them open in minutes after letting them sit in the bucket for a few months. Funny how that works.

I find it neat that all these expensive locks are easy to pick with practice. I started picking a few weeks ago but only had paper clips and a lock that seems to be pretty hard. but I made a standard hook pick and a tension wrench from key rings and went and bought a 2 pack of master locks. level 4 security and got it on my second try in about 15 seconds. I need to get more locks and practice on them and get me some real picks sometime. Thanks for the videos, it's fascinating on how they work, just something fun to do when you're bored.

Oh, I kinda like that challenge. Instead of the "challenge" being the pins themselves, it's the actual keyway - forcing you to adapt your picking method (different angles, different technique, different feel, etc). I like that. I wouldn't mind such a lock in my collection...

Looks like that move to tension counter clockwise was the ticket. Good job!

Good work bill. I never thought I'd be interested in lock picking. A couple of hundred videos later and I'm (single) hooked lol.
