Just want to say THANK YOU so much for posting this! It was as easy as you showed, it gave our tv brand new life! Went from couldn’t watch tv in day time, at night no lights could be on. Now here we are all lights on in the day can see the tv. Our model WD-73642 It was the same exchange the process.

Thank you for this video. Though I do not have the same model, it is still good to see how to take apart the same type. Using this video I was able to find out where the bulb was on the TV, and how to figure out the model bulb I needed and what to do to keep a bulb for spare if it is not in the worst condition.

Great video, mines just burned out and I bought I was buying off market ones but this time around I bought an OEM obviously more expensive but let's hope it lasts. Would you know what should be the best settings for light bulb longevity? Like brightness, color, ect. Thanks again for the video!

I was looking to see if anyone has done an led upgrade since my sister has one of those that le bulb went out on
