These are the songs from Melfest the last 14 years that I'd consider to be my fave guilty pleasures. Please understand that these are not meant to be popular with the fandom (hence the 'guilty' part of this theme) which is stated in the video.

Do you have any guilty pleasures? Are any of them the same as mine? Please share them with me!

Please be respectful in the comments - any disrespectful ones will be deleted.

**I will be posting my top 50 Melfest songs 2010-2023 very soon so please stay tuned if you're interested in which songs made that video**

In addition to what I said in the video, some of the songs made it because they have lyrics or maybe for example, certain people stripped down to their underwear in their performance (that has to be a guilty pleasure just based off doing that - am I right?). I did not include songs I don't care that much about or where my opinion is quite similar to most others. I hope that you enjoyed this video.

Sorry for late commenting this time. I was super busy with university these days and since I knew there would be unfamiliar songs, I decided to wait a little bit so that I can check them out and offer you my opinion. But before that some comments about songs that I knew:

19: Victor Crone- Troubled Waters- I remember how disappointed we were with this song since it came out only few months later after Strom which we liked so much more, but now after listening to this song again, I would say I enjoy it way more than I did in 2020.
16. Victor Crone- Diamonds- I am a little bit surprised that even this song made your top 20. If you ask me, I prefer Troubled Waters way more.
15: Cazzi Opeia- I Can’t Get Enough – Hmm, I personally wouldn’t call it a guilty pleasure because I remember there were quite a few fans who really liked this song and according to My Eurovision Scoreboard app she is 5th favourite out of all 12 acts that made the final in 2022.
05: Alvaro Estrella- Suave- Oh yes, I do remember you liked this one quite a bit so that makes total sense the song made your top 5. I like this song too.
04: Robin Bengtsson- Innocent Love- Fair enough to call it a guilty pleasure since it wasn’t loved by fans at all, but, as you probably may remember, I quite liked this one too since I ranked it 6th.
03: Mohombi- Winners- It’s so funny how I remember this but in 2020 you said this song might be potential Melfest 2020 winner by referring to the title and the fact that Sweden always sends boys to Eurovision. I even found that comment to make sure I am not imagining it. Probably I was too shocked by your statement since I lived in the world where there is no way Bulletproof wouldn’t win 😅

20: Rasmus Viberg- Social Butterfly- The only thing that bothers me is the styling. Otherwise, the song itself is quite good and I like the melody. Reminds me a little bit of Romania’s 2011 song.
15: Youngblood- Youngblood- Again, I am a little bit bothered by the styling, though the song is fine. I kinda see why you decided including it here, because it has that vibe of other songs I have seen you enjoying previously.
14: Isa- Don’t Stop- Oh, I liked this one quite a bit! Was this song really not loved in our fandom? Yeah, it’s kinda dated, but that was 2015 and typical fans usually like these kinds of songs.
12: Vlad Reiser- Nakna I regnet- I have a feeling I have seen this before and maybe even in your channel? Anyways, I like this a lot- cool song and staging. Might be my favourite one, but let’s see others.
10: Linda Pritchard- You Are Making Me Hot-Hot-Hot- Sounds like something I would have expected from Balkan country. She is serving, but the song is a little bit too dated for my taste.
10: David Lindgren- We Are Your Tomorrow- One thing I love about Melodifestivalen is that they love to use lasers in performances. Idk, I just think it’s such a good effect to use. Anyways, the song is not something I have not heard before, but I think it’s doing its thing quite well.
09: Anton Ewald- Natural- Well yeah, compering to New Religion, this one pales out a little bit, but I will say I like the jacket much more than the one he had in 2021.
08: Sigrid Bernson- Patrick Swayze- Nice feel little bop.
07: Alvaro Estrealla- Bedroom- Interesting, it seems like you like Alvaro more than I thought since you included so many his song in this video. Bedroom was like a fresh air for me since it doesn’t have this Latin feel to it that characterizes his previous songs and I must say he did a really good job. But I guess I would like him to continue with Latin feel songs because Alvaro has something that suits this kind of music so well.
02: Oscar Zia- Yes We Can- Let’s hope we can expect him trying again to participate in Melodifestivalen. I really liked this song and as you know, I agree with you he should had won in 2016 over Frans.
01: Oscar Enested- I Love it- Have you thought of Robin while watching this? I did. I enjoyed this one quite a bit- catchy chorus and good beat in pre-chorus. Visually one of the best performances I have seen in Melodifestivalen- nothing complex, but very effective.

So, out of all your guilty pleasures, my top 5 songs would be these (from the new ones ofc):

5. Alvaro Estrealla- Bedroom
4. Oscar Zia- Yes We Can
3. Oscar Enested- I Love it
2. Isa- Don’t Stop
1. Vlad Reiser- Nakna I regnet
