Greek Orthodox Easter, the saturdaynight celebration

A small film about the celebration of Greek Orthodox Easter at Saturday night. The celebration in the church, the kindling of the candles at midnight (the Holy fire), the singing of the hymn to the Christ who is risen, the fireworks, the burning of Judas, the eating of the soup of the intestines of the lamb (magiritsa) and the cracking of the red painted eggs.
