A poem I'm working on that I wrote during this time that I wanted to share.

Moon, sing me a sweet lullaby, make sure my elixirs and potions are charged with your radiant electricity; to your fullest potency.
Lay down a sweet kiss that welcomes me with rejuvenation; rid away pretensive egos.
Unctuous egos are for the megalomaniacs and that surely isn’t me, is it?
I hope to be sweet and hypnotic like the sea, is that how you will view me?
I hear the sound of my nails softly tapping on my keyboard, so soft and inherently magical, for I hold magic in these fingertips,
and everywhere else in my body just by being me.
I am fragile, promise me you’ll take care of me. I promise not to be petulant, and I assure you my mind is far from provincial.
You see, my mind is like a gold mine, rich and filled with secret knowledge unbeknownst to them.
The love I seek is intrinsic, anything that doesn’t serve me is an interloper; to be cast off by me.
