Great review 👍. Maybe in the future there could be a category for best offroad 4wd (not car). Only vehicles with solid axels. It would be interesting to discuss approach, break over, departure angles, ground clearance, wheel articulation, underbody protection, crawl ratio, wading depth and traction/lockers.

I'm surprised the Defender won this category. Every time I read the reviews from people who have owned or currently own complain about the vehicle spending more time off the road than on due to numerous issues with the Defender. Whilst I do not own a Defender my closest friend does and the stories, he talks about regards the service department makes me wonder why anyone would buy a Land Rover vehicle. Surely these awards should factor in after service and reliability. No use spending $150k only for the car to be in the service department 50% of the time with little to no updates, leaving you with no car.
