I just confirmed that it rains in lush jungle at 5pm in sun and 5am in moon, I walked in there and the first orangaru i saw called a goomy first turn.

This method is so tedious. I've been searching for Goomy for such a long time that actually found a shiny Steenee.

The best way is actually to do an SOS chain in route 17 (outside of Po Town) since it is always raining.

Pretty sure there are so many dislikes because you didn't show positive results. Like "hey guys, do this and you'll get a Goomy but I didn't do it so you just gotta trust me." I think most people could figure out what they need to do, they just need more confidence in knowing that its legit so showing positive results is more important. Anyone can say how to catch something but until you show the proof it just looks bad on you.

Just watched this video, it's currently 5:45pm and I'm playing ultra sun, it rains from 5pm-6pm every day in Lush Jungle in Ultra Sun and 5am-6am in Ultra Moon. The pokemon you use does not matter, nor does the moves. I just ran in with a leafeon, ran into the grass, encountered a Steene, used 1 aderaline orb, kept to grass type moves as they were not very effective, 1 SOS later. Goomy appeared! I may have just been lucky but you can use any not very effective moves and an aderaline orb, that's how I did it.

Your method worked so good that I was speechless. First Encountered pokemon was actually Medopod so that helped alot and it only took him 3 SOS calls to draw a Goomy. Overall i got Goomy in about 5 mins. I feel pretty lucky

You can get rain dance at half price in the pokecenter if you get lucky enough to have Roto Bargain, or you can get goomy outside of Po town (3rd island) in a SOS chain because it’s always raining.

I was training my Palosand against some ledians using the roto power when it called a goomy like 20 in I killed it then said that’s weird and looked online and saw it was rare I was like welp that sucks, I decided if I found another I would catch it and not three later a new goomy pops up with its hidden ability I will love him forever

You jst said it, it needs to rain. False Swipe Metapod to 1HP, Adrenaline Orb it, switch it out with Poliwag and Rain Dance it if it's not raining already and bam theres like a 5% chance you get Goomy. Got it once I used Rain Dance twice :) Good luck!

I have confirmation. I got goomy, but if you are more experienced, you can go to route 17 outside of po town as it always rains. I got it on my 3rd try

I got Goomy to appear on the first S.O.S. chain! Encountered Metapod, sent out Gyarados, commanded Rain Dance, used Adrenaline Orb, Metapod calls for help, Goomy appears

As someone who used Goomy on his Ultra Moon team it was the single most annoying SOS chain. The Pokemon in Lush jungle counter water types, so you have to find a different user of rain dance, however the Pokemon found there all have methods that prevent you from a successful SOS chain. Orangruru's spam Taunt, locking you from weaking it and using it, Paras will come come equipped with Dry Skin ability, making themselves heal in rain, Trumbeak's use Roost and Fomantis uses Ingrain to heal, and while Metapod is easy, it's annoying when you don't completely KO a Caterpie from and SOS call then it slows you down with String Shot meaning you have to waste a turn to KO them effectively wasting Rain Dance turns.

I got Goomy with Drizzle Pelipper agaisnt a Bonsly. Only 1 call, I was very lucky. Sturdy helps. Now I'm trying to look for Castform.

I must say, you are a genius! Lol. I would've NEVER thought to use Rain Dance in this situation. Also, I love the idea with the Metapod! I must say though, I had no struggle. I used Rain Dance on my Poliwag and, INSTANTLY, the Metapod became frightened of my rain and a Goomy appeared. On the first turn. Also, I've been watching your videos a TON recently for Pokemon locations due to Bulbapedia not having a walkthrough up yet. But these videos have been extremely helpful! Guys try route 17 or if you don’t want to struggle to evolve goomy you can get an sliggoo at exeggutor island but you need to have an pokemon who knows rain dance like lapras or poliwag or simply buy the TM

Adjust ur DS clock to 5pm for sun 5am for moon at this time its always raining in lush jungle
