For people who are wondering... the reason why it is quite easy to catch is because it starts running out of power by the time it reaches you and almost hoovers like a helicopter as it drops down into your arms. The challenge is trying not to throw it too hard and too high/low. It just takes some practice before it works smooth and easy like Vic. We found that having a border collie was very handy for retrieving the ones that go astray 😊.

I have to say, that's pretty impressive. I can remember as a child, my father bought me a boomerang. I never had much luck getting it to return. One day I walked out the front door of the house, wound up and sent it flying, it curled around, came right back towards me, then right through the side window of the den. Needless to say my boomerang days were over after that, never saw it again.

When I was a kid I had a toy boomerang that never "worked", so as an adult on one random evening I had the sudden urge to find out if boomerangs actually did what everyone said they do. This video satisfied my curiosity. Thank you.
