Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif thanked PM Modi for his congratulatory message on Twitter. Sharif in a tweet said that India and Pakistan should secure peace and focus on the socio-economic development of their people, “Thank you Premier Narendra Modi for felicitations. Pakistan desires peaceful & cooperative ties with India. Peaceful settlement of outstanding disputes including Jammu & Kashmir is indispensable,” Sharif said in a set of tweets. Strongly encourage the Indian government to take a serious approach by talking to the new Pakistan pm about how to get a smooth transition to permanent Pakistan citizenship for Indians who don't wish to stay peacefully and create a problem in India. This will be a good dialogue toward peace between the two countries for a start.
