Infinite Flight's Fun Simulator App at AirVenture

High-def graphics engines have made flight simulators ever more realistic and capable. Infinite Flight has applied this to mobile platforms like the iPhone and iPad. In this product minute, Infinite Flight's Laura Laban explains how the app works. The free version of it has five different aircraft.

I've been a subscriber for more than 5 years, back when I was actually a bi-weekly commuter between EWR and CPH. Had a lot of fun emulating my actual connections, and learned a lot. The expert and training servers are as real-world as can be. The physics seem pretty realistic too, but I defer to players who are actual commercial pilots of the big jets and props to be the best judges of that. My own flight training in Cessna's compares to this sim very well. This sim is serious but rewarding and fun. 👍🏻

Amazing. The sort of functionality a pc once struggled to handle, now a phone can easily. Anyone remember sublogic flight sim on commodore 64?

Thanks for highlighting this product and the entrepreneur behind it. I thought Ms. Laban was most impressive, and I hope she serves as a great example and motivation for other women to pursuit these kind of highly technical fields dominated by men. And I appreciate her obvious love for aviation. Unlike some of the giggling and adolescent schoolboys who have commented below, I found Ms. Laban to be smart, sharp, and attractive. Grown men are not intimidated by smart women.
