Is there a way to change the pitch of sources? For example, a way to raise or the lower the audio pitch on Video Capture Devices?

Setting limiter to -3 is good because it gives the file compression algorithms (like MP3 or AAC) headroom.

If you use Shure SM57 (dynamic mic) with Focusrite or PreSouns/Behringer like audio interface. I found next settings appropriate for Expander plugin: Interface Gain at 75% (not condenser and off phantom power +48 V), Presets: Gate, Ratio: 2, 30:1, Threshold: -15 dB, Attack: 10 ms, Release: 125 ms, Output Gain: 0, 00 dB, Detection: RMS.

Thank you for the video, really informative! May I ask how you did the output of the filtered microphone from OBS to Adobe Audition for this video?

What suggestion would you give for the ratio on the Gate profile for an Expander? I'm switching from Noise Gate to using an Expander in normal OBS.

Thanks for the video, Mike. Watching for a second time because somehow I've managed to wipe my OBS filters (no idea how). This time I am making a record of them in case it happens by accident again. :)

Glad there's someone who understands how these audio filters work, because I have no idea. I'm constantly having to battle with audio settings for streaming, especially while playing games, because some games can be really loud and drowns out my voice and make it seem like I'm very quiet in comparison to the game itself. I've tried setting up with ducking, but for some reason that hasn't really been working out all that great, it's not been auto-adjusting the volume levels to where it should be so that it automatically lowers the game audio and let my voice come through loud and clear.

How can I have bass like you in my microphone

You should make a video on how to setup filters for live streaming...like order and which ones like do i need a compressor now? since there is a limiter?

Thanks for this video! I am glad I watch it. I was struggling to get my audio right just couldn't get the background noise from my room fan to not pick-up on my mic. Between you and using an expander (which no one else I've watched has even mentioned, yet alone showed us how to use) and another video I finally got it. One last thing the order of your filters matters depending on your desired effect. Again thanks sooo much!

Thanks for this video! I really needed to set up all 3 of these filters for my church's live stream. My only question is, is that the correct order to sort the filters into? I had Invert Polarity at the top of the list instead of in the middle and it didn't seem to solve the problem I'm having.

Noise suppression seems to work better then expander. Every time I talk with expander I can hear my fan but whe I dont say anything the fan noise isnt there. With Noise suppression I dont hear the fan at all and my voice sounds pretty much the same.

That's great.
Does this new update maintain my last presets or do I need to reimport those anyway? I had some real issues with last update because of this.
