Tropical Storm Ian Gets Stronger

Tropical Storm Ian gets stronger, and will become a hurricane Sunday or Monday. It could eventually become a major hurricane in the Gulf of Mexico. Ian will swing west of Jamaica (good news!) but hurricane conditions are possible in parts of the Cayman Islands. After that, hurricane conditions are likely for Western Cuba.

Impacts for Florida are more and more likely, but is is highly uncertain where in Florida this may go.
