Jack thought that the house he lived in with his family was very bland; he thought it was plain and not special. He wanted to build a home that was especially fun for kids. What is your favorite part of the house that Jack wants to build? Why?
Visualizing- imagining, picturing in this mind
Jack is visualizing the home that he wants to build; he is imagining it and picturing it in his mind. He then draws blueprints and makes models of the home he wants to build. Why would this help him if he ever really built the home he wants?
Unique- different and special
Jack’s home that he imagines is unique; it is different and special than most homes! He imagines all sorts of creative machines and devices that make it unique. Why did Jack think his house would stand out in his neighborhood?
