DEBITO DI SONNO - Mafioso Chase Theme | Forsaken OST

Out of the three releases today, this one took the longest. I got some new high grade brass plugins to make this one work, and it took some time to learn how it all works.

This theme is for the Mafioso, a c00lkidd skin that references the Mafia from Dream Game. This is the Capricci Family, a mob of Britalians that collect debt under the rule of Eunoia.
I doubled down with the big band vibe for this track, which I realized may have been overboard for a pretty retro looking character ingame. As a result, I compensated by having the terror radius themes start surreal and retro, slowly transitioning into the big band.

I feel like Mafioso could’ve been a killer tied to Chance. In lore he could’ve owed the mafia a hefty load of money and never paid it back or ended up losing more than he won due to gambling. And the mafia is still after him.

I LOVE how you put in refrences to the regular c00lkidd chase theme! Like the Signs falling down in sync. Its like the c00lkidd with kids coming up to cheer!

I absolutely adore the original theme because it always just sounded somewhat menacing and almost more "Dream Game" like and a little retro sounding, but this one also just FEELS more "mafia" with its jazzy tune. Both are absolutely outstanding in their own ways.
