Camping on Scotland's most Remote Mountain | 2 Days in The Great Wilderness

Perhaps Scotland's most remote mountain peak as it sits very close to the point that is furthest from any road, I headed into Fisherfield (some call this area The Great Wilderness ) to climb three mountains and wild camping on one of the finest summits I have visited. There maybe more remote peaks depending on your definition but this was certainly a cracking and demanding trip to bag three of Scotland's remotest mountains ......

Man what a fantastic hike! It's so beautiful it's hard to believe you're not in a movie or a dream. You are so lucky to live your life in Scotland. I'm an American of scottish ancestors, and very proud of my ancestry, and very envious of people living in Scotland, but I can at least go there in videos like this! Been a subscriber to your channel for many years, Murray, and always look forward to your films, but I've never commented on one before (or anywhere else on YT as it happens). However... that has just blown me away. What an utterly stunning account of an epic trip. I re-live my hillwalking days largely through your videos nowadays as distance prevents me from spending much time in the Highlands and my knees aren't what they were. I skirted the edges of Fisherfield, did An Teallach of course, but found the remoteness and wildness of its heart just a bit too intimidating, so that has left me a bit awestruck! Did a 60 miler round fisherfield and stayed in sheneval a few years back and I can honestly say it’s better than anything I’ve ever done. He’s not kidding when he says it’s a wilderness !

I found your channel on Christmas Eve and wow what a present that keeps on giving. I just wanted to say a big thank you, as a content creator you are truly inspiring. I recently turned 50 and its fair to say the last 15 years have been over eating, drinking, and lack of exercise. No excuses, just poor judgement.
