Camping on Scotland's most Remote Mountain | 2 Days in The Great Wilderness

Perhaps Scotland's most remote mountain peak as it sits very close to the point that is furthest from any road, I headed into Fisherfield (some call this area The Great Wilderness ) to climb three mountains and wild camping on one of the finest summits I have visited. There maybe more remote peaks depending on your definition but this was certainly a cracking and demanding trip to bag three of Scotland's remotest mountains ......

The first time I visited the Highlands in Scotland I remember thinking, "It's absolutely true what they say, you really need to see it with your own eyes". Stunning place!

these amazing videos have helped me with my mental health and inspire me to think outside my own situation - doing the housework and planning for hopefully getting into the hills in the Spring. Amen and thank you.

As a disabled person I can’t get to these remote places, but after watching your great video I felt like I was there in these mountains, Thanks very much, you have a new subscriber.

Man what a fantastic hike! It's so beautiful it's hard to believe you're not in a movie or a dream. You are so lucky to live your life in Scotland. I'm an American of scottish ancestors, and very proud of my ancestry, and very envious of people living in Scotland, but I can at least go there in videos like this! Also after that trip my feet and back don't even hurt a bit (ha) Thank you for the long, wonderful, beautiful video!

Been a subscriber to your channel for many years, Murray, and always look forward to your films, but I've never commented on one before (or anywhere else on YT as it happens). However... that has just blown me away. What an utterly stunning account of an epic trip. I re-live my hillwalking days largely through your videos nowadays as distance prevents me from spending much time in the Highlands and my knees aren't what they were. I skirted the edges of Fisherfield, did An Teallach of course, but found the remoteness and wildness of its heart just a bit too intimidating, so that has left me a bit awestruck! Thank you for the best hour I've spent in your company in a long time. As you might say... fan-TAST-ic!

Only one word “jealous “ 19 years ago I was at a low ebb in my life so I had a week in Fisherfield, best week I ever had and even now if I get fed up I just look back on my week of freedom. Thanks for sharing ATB

Thank you ever so for this.
As a wheelchair user, I don't get to go such incredibly remote places in person. But I did through you. That was amazingly beautiful and you really made it live for me.
Thank you.

That is your best vlog for a long time and by a long way Murray. What a place man! And what a spot to camp. You certainly wouldn't want to be a sleep walker up there. And stunning photos to boot. Thanks for sharing your mega adventure Murray.

Did a 60 miler round fisherfield and stayed in sheneval a few years back and I can honestly say it’s better than anything I’ve ever done. He’s not kidding when he says it’s a wilderness !

I found your channel on Christmas Eve and wow what a present that keeps on giving. I just wanted to say a big thank you, as a content creator you are truly inspiring. I recently turned 50 and its fair to say the last 15 years have been over eating, drinking, and lack of exercise. No excuses, just poor judgement. Turning 50, i made the decision that enoug h is Enough and i will get back to being fit and more than anything getting back outdoors. Your channel, has been the kick in the butt that i needed, to both inspire me to the beauty we have in the UK, but also to ensure that when i get retirement, that it will be a long and healthy one, which currently would not be the case. Over weight, asthmatic. Your. Videos are the inspiration i need to turn it all around. Even on New Year’s Eve i was watching your channel rather than the festivities. My wife and 4 kids in the lounge, and me in the kitchen with our newest TV, a 65 inch Sony 8K TV which shows off your videos brilliantly. Thank you so much for what you do. We normally come to Scotland at least once a year as we love the Highlands, but with covid, we have been denied this treat. Your videos just bring back the beauty that Scotland offers. I have been binge watching many of them, but still more to look at. Have watched the most recent walk across sky with Tom 3 times now. Again thanks for what you do. Much appreciated. Cheers John

Oh what beauty. This must be one of my favourite videos. I look forward to every video you post and each ones seems to be more glorious than the one before. Thank you so much from snowy cold Ontario where we're under lock down again. Your videos take me far away from the troubles of the world. Liv.
