If you take a closer look, you’ll notice this rock has a diamond inside it. But how did that diamond end up trapped in this solid rock? And more importantly, could you find a rock like this out in nature?
The answer lies in a natural process that’s been occurring since the dawn of time. And yes, with the right knowledge and a little bit of luck, you can find a rock like this in the wild. But did you know this isn’t the only type of rock that hides precious gems inside?
There are many other types of rocks that contain valuable stones, such as emeralds, diamonds, tourmalines, aquamarine, rubies, sapphires, topaz, and so much more.
So, in today’s video, we’re going to talk about these special rocks and their unique characteristics so you can identify them if you ever come across one in the wild.

Love your video. There was so much education. I live in SE Oklahoma but not real far from the Arkansas Crater of Diamonds. The few times I went to the Diamond mine. There is a section of kimberlite. I was told by a regular digger there. That there wasn’t diamonds in the kimberlite there. Even though no one else digs or is seen breaking up the kimberlite there. Could there be a chance of cracking open a kimberlite and finding a diamond?

Rock 1, kimberlitic rock with a diamond and visible pyrite . Rock two, double terminated quartz crystals like Herkimer " diamonds" or arkimer " diamonds " in a vug with great smokey quartz druse (pronounced drew-Z) .
Diamonds are often found in ancient minerlized hydrothermal vents full of kimberlite, lamproite or lamprophyre (heavily modified lamproite) ...but are sometimes found in other rock types as a rarety. Some places may have diamonds in waterways that have long ago eroded the host rock. There is only one spot in the world that has public access diamond mining. That is Arkansas. However diamond is found around the world and is more common than people think. Canada, usa, brazil, russia, south Africa and Australia are all known locations to find them.

From ur video you would definitely love where I use to go romp back in the bush when I was younger, why u ask well let's just put this way what I seen in your video, you would not have to dig because alot of those rocks and Im talking huuuge in size at least a 3 strong adult males to lift most lol but there's alot of those special rocks just sitting above ground loose waiting to be grabbed and the area I'm from there's gold, silver, cobalt, diamond mining, and other stuff going on ! But anyhow yuppers your video definitely shows alot of things I use to play with and the abundance well no comment tired of the greedy corporate grinchs 😂😂
