Join us on another delicious $5 lunch challenge adventure! This week, we look for cheap Mexican food to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. After considering Taco Bell, we head to an authentic Mexican restaurant to get savoury pulled pork tacos for one dollar each. Then we head to a grocery store to pair the tacos with some sugary goodness - a Jaritto's grapefruit drink. We try to buy a dessert as well, a chilli pepper strawberry lollipop imported from Mexico, but we run out of money! How do you think we performed in this $5 lunch challenge?

please, the fried taco is inspired by the classic Mexican tacos but is also mixed with American food, and Mexicans don't always agree on calling fried tacos (specially from a FAST FOOD CHAIN) Mexican tacos 😭😭
