4 Minutes was so good! The cinematography, the acting, the storyline and plot. It was smart and complex, which I know isn't always everyone's thing, but I LOVED it!! I'm glad to see it get some appreciation here.

Jack and joker u steal my heart has been the best Bl I’ve seen in a long time. They really did it all. They had the plot, the development, humor, and the romance! I never found myself cringing even once like I do with most BLs.

My Stand In and The On1y One are my top 1 and 2 too. First of all, the ACTING is so good and you feel the difference when skilled and professional actors do the job. The chemistry was overflowing in every scene which make all the interaction believable. I think a bit of toxicity in the plot gives the foundation to complex characters and engaging storyline. MSI broadcasting period was one of the best due to how invested the audience was with the story. Overall we had a good year for bl genre 😊

4 minutes has a special place in my heart just because of how beautifully it was shot, and how they obviously put so much effort and time into crafting the show (which is something that can’t be said for some bls).

Agree with most of the list but Unknown had story issues as you said, that sometime just didn’t work. I am loving ThamePo. They can both act and still look really great, especially William who has many other talents as well.

I can't believe you had a hard time coming up with 10. I could compose about 15 especially since this was like the most competitive year of BLS as there were many gr8 shows technically that I enjoyed

There are so many. But I truly enjoyed "let free the curse of taekwondo".

I'll rank only the series I have truly enjoyed overall plus my flop 3:

1) Love in the big city (a masterpiece, no other series come close)
2) Thame Po (the biggest surprise, 4 episodes in and i'm loving it, the simplicity, the slice of life kind of relationship building, stunning)
3) Love for love sake (really enjoyed it, cute and wholesome overall)
4) Wandee Goodday (the highs were high, but the lows were really low, ; it's high on the rank just for the insane chemistry of GreatInn which are my couple of the year)
5) The heart killers (also a surprise because i tuned in for FirstKhao and stayed for JoongDunk, let's hope they won't mess up the storyline)
6) Jack and Joker (my love for Yin and War is always untouchable, but the expectation maybe was too high; it was not bad but a bit slow, Love mechanics remains their masterpiece)
7) 4 minutes (listen it wasn't bad but i can't rewind and pause every 5 minutes to try to understand what's going on; we love a good and diverse plot but with more explanations please)

Now on to the flop 3:
1) We are (What was this? Why was this popular? Horrible, boring, nonsensical, without a plot, terrible acting, terrible characters, a complete waste of time; i was bored even by watching it at 2x speed)
2) Kidnap (I take this as a personal offence, to have Ohm in a series and waste his potential with this garbage of a script is diabolical. And I'm sorry, Leng needs to improve his acting, it was pretty bad)
3) My Love Mix-Up (listen it's not even close to be as bad as the other 2, but the problem that i have with this one is that it was so bland and forgettable that i can't even remember a single scene from the show. The standard for GemFourth was really high so it was rather disappointing, can't wait for Ticket to Heaven for their redemption)

The On1y One took over my brain. It was impeccable. I felt more in a look between the two of them than all the shows that were trying to push the envelope with sex scenes this year. It has to be said that Taiwan really dominated in general.
