I was 12 years old living in a foster home in DeLand Florida. I had parent's who was alcoholics, & very abusive.
The state took all 12 of us kid's. I ended up in DeLand.
The foster parent's was Christians. We all went too a old country church, & that's when I first heard this song. I never heard of God until then. & when I heard this song...I cried....even though I really didn't have much at all that night I had the LORD, & that is really all that mattered. I wasn't afraid anymore.
I had finally found peace. I'm 55 today, & still singing Thank You LORD 😊
God has really been so good to me.
I've lived a good life all because of the LORD ❤

I just lost my aunt back in December. The day she died, I told myself: I miss her already. I been grieving over her since then. Until recently i had another dream about her, and I believe God gave me this dream, to tell me that she is doing okay, that I should no longer grieve over her anymore, and that I will see her again one day. I thank God for that. She raised me when my mom could not. My mom was not always there to raise me, but that does not matter. My aunt was there to raise me and that is all that matters. I am truly grateful that she raised me to be the man I am today. I would not be the man I am today if it were not for her. Posting this with happy tearful eyes. I cannot wait to see her again.
