Yeah, no. Odin feared constantly that he would be upsurped. He had to Ravens (Memory and thought) that searched the Earth on those who might turn against him. Odin heard that a frost giant would be born that would destroy him, and all the Asgard Gods. So, Odin went to war killing all the Frost giants. He killed most of the their men, and went on to kill the women and children. Have a great time, the Asgard drank as the killed the innocent. Odin found the pregnant wife of the Frost giant's king, and killed her. Then he cut her child from her dead body, and tried to crush it under his foot. The baby fought even before it took it's first breath. Odin slipped, and fell. Everyone laughd at Odin, and he said, "I meant to do that." Yeah, right. Odin said, "I will raise this child to be my son. None may every harm him. He is under my protection." The child was Loki. Loki grew up loving Odin very much. He also loved his brother Thor. Thor and Loki had many adventure in the service of the Asgard gods. Thor was brave, but not to smart. Loki had to save his brother often, but he cared not. He loved Thor. Loki could never understand why his father praised Thor, but seemed to never show affection for himself. This was true of the other Asgard gods. Loki tried to find out why his father did not favor him. He was told to ask Balder. Balder was the very best of the Asgard gods. He was kind and brave, and did what was right always. Loki asked, "Why does my father not love me?"' Balder didn't want to tell the truth, but he did. Loki's love for his father was so great, he refused to believe the truth. He went to Odin. Odin was prepared. He had a crown with horns made for Loki. The crown had a terrible curse set on it. When Loki asked his father if Balder spoke the truth, Odin struck him down. Odin said, "I dispise you. You are low like the animals of the Earth, and all you will be a king of is beast. " Odin threw the crown on loki. Loki could not cast the crown away. It was bound to him. Loki did nothing. He just sought to live his life in peace. He married a frost giant, and live in cave by the sea. He lived a simple life. Soon his wife was pregnant, and gave birth. The crown Odin had cast on Loki was cursed so that any child he had would be born a beast. Loki's first child was a black wolf. Loki asked, "What have I done to be treated this way?" Loki swore he would have justice. Loki saw the Asgard gods for what they were. They were just murders, or worst. Loki hated Balder the most. HOw could Balder be called the best of the gods, when he watched his father murder the innocent? I will kill Balder first, " Loki said. Loki did have his justice, because his children defeated the asgard gods. His son ate the light of their world, and his daughter ruled over them in their death for all eternity. That's the true story of the Asgard gods.
