1980 Datsun Nissan pickup Day 1 Restore 720

Want to use this truck as my work truck.

Issues I'm having - Truck dies when pressing on gas - weird idle
4 speed - want 5 speed
Would like to increase fuel economy
E-Brake doesn't work
Would like doors and ignition to have one key
Would like moon roof
Would like to be a hard top over the bed lock able - lock able gate as well
Roof rack possibly
paint job engine tune up maybe weber?

That thing in the middle under the hood is the air cover with the air filter and carburetor in it.

weird idle check your timing chain or for vacume leaks. i have one to that has a weird idle
