I think a lot of people tout "I'm gonna live for today because I might die tomorrow, " but they don't consider how much it sucks for retirees that outlive their retirement funds and how many people are working over the age of 70 or are depressed because they are dirt poor due to a prediction that they would die earlier. Statistically that's probably the outcome they should be more afraid of.

Gents, I’m listening to around minute 30 about being wired differently. Anyone can be wired that way, billions tend to be the most visible because the questions usually follows: why? My contribution would be the book, Purpose Driven Life. Without giving away the book, the premise is that people across the spectrum that have that purpose will fight tooth and nail no matter what for that purpose. It’s what gets them through the most difficult challenges. Without that purpose in their minds, nothing is really worth trying. I think you all can relate to some degree. These people had a purpose to of excellence in everything they do no matter how small. Those people bring vision and culture to an organization. The culture in turns becomes contagious. It’s up to that leader to have others see that vision and purpose too so that they will follow.
