I've watched a few videos on the beginning area and was shocked to realize how much I've missed. I've completely missed 4 mini dungeons, multiple weapons, 2 NPCs one of which is very important, and one overworld boss. It's crazy how much there is and how easy it is to miss.

The bloodhound fang has a unique attack when you’re crouched. A quick slash thing using light attack. You can use this in a combo by just crouching real quick. Has a wide attack radius and great for finishing off enemies or interrupting their attack. Blood hound fang is my favorite weapon so far.

Just a side note: "gaol" is pronounced like "jail" and means the same thing

Another cool thing about Bloodhound's Fang, when you have the requirements to actually teleport during the second attack of the weapon skill, you also have i-frames. Very useful in group fights.

The tree sentinel is way easier to kill while mounting Torrent. It looks like this boss fight was made to do while mounting Torrent

There is this one amazing scythe for faith builds on the ruins NE from the Fourth Church, passing the evergaol (in the same zone of the isolated merchant's shack), scales with faith/Str/agi, does holy damage and bleed.

My favorite area so far is south Limgrave. I spent hours last night finding little dungeons and ruins. I had originally set my marker on the farthest south area, assuming I’d just make a beeline there and not really see much else to explore. Boy was I wrong, I spent my whole night in one small area discovering things and soaking in the environment

For my Sorceror bros, you can get a staff that works like the crystal catalyst from DS (boosts spell damage at the cost of higher mp costs) from the boss in the City of Magic. Also just south of there you can get the Meteor Staff, which has S scaling by default, but cant be upgraded

HERES ONE!!! Once you get to the round table, continue foward and drop down (becareful as there's no way back up unless you kill the invader who is decently strong) head left and follow the room and pick up the item you find on the bed. You get unique faith based fist weapons, that require 30 faith to wield

The twin blade is in the ruins on the lake east of the first outside Grace, the entrance is inside a fully walled building you need your horse to double jump into it and it's easy grabbing from there

In the Roundtable area, if you jump off the balcony, where you go to fight a summon if you go to the left there's a room with beds and on one of them is an item which is a Faith based Fist Weapon, I don't have enough faith yet to try it out but seems pretty dope and looks dope.

Also a weapon tip:
If you get teleported to the crystal cave via the teleport trap in the ruins of the dragon lake, exit the crystal dungeon and just go forward, you'll see two ruins. In one of them there's the meteorite staff with a S in magic scaling.

Ive been using an early weapon called the great epee, its basically a rappier. Its quite okay but the main downside of this weapon is it cant CC very well, the pros is you can literally attack while using your shield

You know something that kinda surprised me about Elden Ring? The load time. I’m on PS4 Slim and the load are actually not that bad. I fact they’re quite quick. I was shocked.

For any strength builds there’s the ultra greatsword in early caelid, if you need to find it look up “where to get guts greatsword elden ring” the sword is an homage to berserk and kentaro miura, its the sword the protagonist uses in the manga

I have all these weapons but I got my uchigatana to a +6 and it pretty much just destroys everything in its path.
