I went to Pompeii back in June this year and it was incredible! Seeing it on YouTube or the television is interesting but actually being there and seeing it with your own eyes is an experience that’s hard to put into words

I recently toured Pompeii, I walked the streets that were built before the birth of Christ, and destroyed merely a couple of decades after his Crucification.
There are no words to describe what I saw. Of the many casts of humans there was one particular cast of a dog. It was quite apparent from the impression of the dog's face, it was in pain and confused. This happened over 2, 000 years ago, but it was gripping to see the expression of the dog's face. I felt privileged to be able to walk the streets. This should be on your bucket list. You will not ever forget it. It is impactful..

Recent studies based on the victims' bones proved that the death of many of them was not instantaneous. Many were cooked alive by less than 200 degree Celsius fume in particular those farther or sheltered in the houses. Also, some fell into boiling water...😮

Just back from a trip to Naples and a visit to Pompei. Very interesting place from such a long time ago. Enjoyed the whole time there and Naples has some amazing buildings that are hundreds of years old. Also went to Sorrento and along the stunning coastal road to Amalfi. I will definitely be visiting again to explore more.

Where i can see these? Any museum or at Herculaneum site? My guide tour didnt covered this and i want to know where i can find these?

Those are casts yes. 😢but its very sad though how so many people have died. They didnt know it was a volcano quite a few did I'm sure. Pliny the younger noticed. But few people fled and so many took shelter in their homes. That didnt save them😢😢😢
