Doug Emhoff's speech was great, but even more telling to me of Kamala's character is that Kersten Emhoff (Doug' ex-wife) is at the DNC enthusiastically cheering Kamala on.

Love takes on many forms, including ones with blended families.

I almost didn’t watch Emhoff’s speech because I don’t care about spouses, but I’m so glad I did. What a great guy, and sweet story of their relationship, and his personal background. What a guy! I am SO thoroughly impressed with him, Kamala and Tim Walz. I’m actually looking forward to hearing from Tim’s wife.

And OMG when Walz’s former student spoke at the Minnesota roll call!!! I love this guy!

I thought the second day of the DNC went perfectly. The speeches were very effective, encouraging, and inspirational! It was lively and fun, and i believe this momentum will continue for the Harris/Walz ticket all the way to the ballot box! Can't wait for the debates.
