The tsunami is not just a threat to the seashore, as most of us think. People living near large lakes are also at risk if an earthquake or landslide hits the area - as in the case of Lake Geneva. The 563 disaster can be repeated at any time. More in the new video.

Something similar happened at Lituya Bay, Alaska, in 1958. A 7.8 earthquake and subsequent landslide caused a tsunami that overwhelmed a few fishing boats anchored at the mouth of the bay, killing a couple when their boat was swamped. The wave run-up was measured at 1, 720 feet (524 meters). Luckily, the area was uninhabited, or it would've been a major catastrophe. Great video, as usual, thanks!
