WHAT HAVE YOU DONE? TYLER1 IS UNSTOPPABLE

Definitely need a "Bull's Eye" variation. Probably something to do with a Bishop or Queen attacking something.

I hope some variations or transpositions get to be named along the lines of
- Holy Cow opening
- Cow opening, BS Gambit
- King's semi-cow attack / Queen's semi-cow defense
- Cow's cheese trap
- Cow-abunga

i won on my first cow opening . It leads into some crazy agressive positions . I like the idea of a Milktruck variation, Minotaur defense, and the deadly 'Buttercup attack'

If you put the bishops on d2 and e2 you can call it the Texas Longhorn variation, because the squares the bishops cover are shaped like two big horns.

Anna: "mom dad, I invented a new chess opening"
Dad: "that's great! Will you call it the cramling?"

Anna was definitely on the good stuff when she came up with this, especially the name part.

I tried this opening at my local club today and played our best player to a draw. Had a lot of fun with it, definitely keeping this in my repertoire.

Here are some of my names for variations!
1.The Angry Bull opening- an opening in which one piece charges straight onto the board from it's starting square, which is just an idea, and I will not be sad if you do not do this in the opening.
2. The Udder Defence.
3. The Milk Pail, an opening for both pieces, black or white, in which the user surrounds a piece, or the centre, with an array of pawns, bishops, and knights. (Again, just a recommendation.) The centre is the milk, and the pieces for the pail!
4. The Calf.
The calf starts out basic, with a common opening/defence, such as e4 or the Carro Kann. Then, the Calf springs into life, as one or more pieces zoom into position, ready to start flinging your opponent's pieces off the board. (Also a recommendation.) I like the calf, because it deceives your opponent, much as how an actual calf may device a farmer by looking sickly, and then proving to be the strongest cow in the herd.

Overall I love the Cow Opening, and I hope it will at last get me unstuck, because I have been very stuck in chess lately, with my rating never going above 200. My rating once went above 200 in Blitz, after a nonstop hour, but then quickly began to fall.
Thanks so much!

"Every single game you end up in a losing position, but somehow manage to win". Love it. Noone can deny the mysterious energies at play once you bring out the cow opening

It works like you said. The opponent achieves a winning endgame and blunders. I think they relax early on and throws caution to the wind. Good stiff, Thanks!

Love this.
Great respect, Anna.
Whatever everyone says, you introduced a very creative opening with a story.
