I was just thinking do I have too many games like this and I probably do but I like that this adds something a little bit different with a side board and using different people to explore tiles. Have signed up the crowdfunding page and will likely pick up a copy after seeing it played.

Looks quite interesting. 😊 Definitely checking out the KS. One question: Is there any advantage in completely fulfilling a companion? Some sort of bonus or higher rewards, achievemens or anything?
Two things that to my mind should be improved: 1. Jungle and mountains look too similar. The dev should take a different color for one of those landscape types into consideration. 2. The gameplay was quite long for my taste and for what the game wants to be. Maybe, there should be included a shorter version of the game (smaller islands, different end game conditions etc.). Well done!

I really like the look of this. Couple of questions though. Firstly there seems to be an active kickstarter page for a previous version of this game which is a bit confusing. Secondly, I'm only half way through the playthrough, but I'm trying to understand why the player board isn't a write on sheet like the map. Is there a reason why that board ended up using the cubes and dice rather than just a pen?
