Wait so Americans can do a driving test in an automatic car then drive a manual legally? That can't happen in the UK which I guess why the majority of people learn to drive manual in the UK. 2 different licenses, full license = learning and doing test in manual which allows you to drive Manual and Automatic OR a automatic license where you learn in automatic and do your test in one and you're not allowed to drive manual (Unless you do the full license).

I relate so much to Jordan's nerves when someone is behind him. I'm just like him and hate to be any kind of burden to others. I hope we get to see the first time he tries to start moving on a hill from a dead stop. That right there was probably the hardest thing for me because I was always worried I would roll too far back and hit the person behind me.

i honestly think my first car being manual is the reason im such a car enthusiast today. It really connects you to the car

His throttle argument only really relates to high-performance cars that have enough strength to move when idling. My car is an economy car and if I just let off the clutch in gear without moving, it'll stall no questions asked. I had to learn to really work the clutch so that it's being released as I'm giving the car just the right amount of gas.
