this sounds like social security. it also sounds like our fiat currency system where the new entrant that's needed to keep the ponzi going is like the newly printed money. slowing down even the rate of the new funds that enter the system (rate of money printing) and the ponzi collapses, but kekep the fiat ponzi going and hyperinflation is the end result.
