As a pastor who left conventional church ministry a couple years ago to pursue a simpler church and simpler faith experience, I found that the term "disentangling" is a meaningful description that allows for challenging and questioning (pursuing truth) without all the extras that people call deconstruction. Deconstruction is humans telling God he has to do things the way we see fit. God cannot be bigger than our own thinking. Sad.

I think this is a conversation that needs to take place with conservative philosopher James K.A. Smith's book on deconstruction. It does not have to be the boogeyman and can be spun to assist Christianity.

We are making up all kind of words these days deconstruction is just one of them and as I understand it deconstruction is actually apostasy That's what it means it means walking away from the faith. So let's just call it apostasy.

Words have definitions. Our culture is actively changing definitions which causes confusion.

Deconstruction simply means taking an idea and seeing if it is true. Just like an”woman” simply means someone with xx chromosomes.

We can stick with true definitions. We don’t have to let the culture redefine.

A better way to interact is use the word correctly.

“So, you are deconstructing Christianity? I’d be so curious as to your thought process. Which points did you find illogical?”

Most people saying this are not truly deconstructing. This will cause them to become self aware.

Some of you guys will wake up soon and see that this false doctrine of hypocrisy is what is destroying you from inside out. None of you know who and what God is but blindly follow the blind reading a mystic eastern text as though it were a history book. While you are fake, scared, guilty, ashamed, never learning for yourself, unbelieving and condemning. Crazy how you still cannot humble yourself out of pure fear of false religion.
