One thing that is not publicly well known is X7 and X8 are the only games where after completing a game, players can save and start a new game from that file. This is actually beneficial as all power-up parts from X7 and Chips purchased in X8 are retained (not to mention it is possible to add more power-up parts for X7 in the new game). In addition for X7, X is available right after the opening stage when using a new game from an old game save data file.

If you use rookie hunter mode on X6, it actually becomes playable.

X6 = The worst IMO = Frustratingly bad
X7 = Second worst IMO = Boringly bad

Sorry but I have to disagree with X6 and X8. I’m loving X8 so far, in fact is currently one of my favorite entries in the X series. X6, from what I witnessed, is riddled with bad level design and the characters balance is nearly nonexistent, with X being worse than Zero in nearly every aspect.

I actually enjoyed Megaman X5. By far my favorite in the X series. Also, if they're doing the X collection stuff, does that mean Battle Network is next? Here's to hoping seeming that Battle Network is my favorite Megaman series overall!
