Selling my R1 2015 plate but never learned how to wheelie but then u can’t learn on the R1 without experience so I think I might learn on KTM kkkk

Man you need to tune the ecu if you put a de-cat exhaust on this bike. The euro 5 emission regulations make this bike run super lean, so you need to add a fuel dongle or tune the ecu for it otherwise you'll ruin the engine

Hi, I’m thinking of picking one of these up. Just wanted your thoughts on 2up riding. Obviously this is not the bike for extended riding w/ a passenger. I’m pretty small, 5’10 about 160 and my wife about 5’7 and thin. Do you think it’s possible/somewhat fun to ride with a passenger for shorter/quick rides? She’d probably rarely ride with me tbh but just wanted that option

Just took delivery of mine last week. Bought same baffle from Rottweiler and TST fender eliminator with pod turn signals. Will break it in and then install Rottweiler intake and Tekmo Ti header with power commander.

Hi, to remove the anti clutch up lock on Hyper 950 you just move back the metal spring under clutch handle so it’s not connected when you clutch in. Only drawback is that you can’t start it with gear in and clutch in.
As you sold it it do not matter anymore.

How is the torque against Hyper? I have a hyper with full exhaust. And dealing little bit with swapping it to a new KTM smc 690 2020z I love the hyper but like the idea with a lighter bike for take anywhere, little offroad. If I get money between to cover my expenses. I might be up for it, just afraid it will feel like it’s a downgrade in power etc. what you think? Thanks and cheers

Hope my purchase of this bike is worth it lol. I’m picking mine up this weekend a 2021 just like yours. I’m a little heavier dude I’m 6ft 2 I have a Harley street glide as my long haul. I wanted something fun for daily use back and forth to work and twisties. I heard the ktm 690 hauls ass and it pretty fast amd can hang with street bikes on back roads and from the get go!

There's always mention of those false neutrals. There's a power part that supposedly fixes. Know anything about that? I'm hesitant to spend the out the door money although I want quickshift up and down like my Tuono but if it's unreliable than maybe buy a used 701? Thoughts?

Has this been bike been reliable all the time? I hear ktm’s are very sensitive to leaks and electronic faults.. i want to sell my z900 and get a 690 but i’m a bit concerned about reliability issues.

Dude this is weird.. the 2021 models have led turnsignal lights and the dashboard is upgraded. You basically have a 2019 model with the colour scheme of the 2021😕

Where did you get the exhaust. The black one I see is aluminum. I can't find the black in Titanium with carbon fiber cap.
All I can find is aluminum in black with black carbon cap.
